modplug-tools software package provides Modplug playing console tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install modplug-tools
modplug-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the modplug-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep modplug-tools *
You will get with modplug-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
